Vicente Ortiz Gimeno

Vicente Ortiz Gimeno is a Spanish composer, conductor and orchestrator based in Los Angeles (USA). His projects have been awarded with the “Ciutat de Llíria” International Composition Award, the Millican Composition Award, Berklee Composition Competition and Steve Kaplan Award by ASCAP Foundation.

His work as composer and orchestrator has been featured in the feature films “Tom’s Dilemma”, “Pancho”, “La Vida Inesperada”, “Getúlio”; TV shows like “Isabel”, “30 for 30” and documentaries such as “JFK: Like No Other” and “An Honest Liar”.

A Summa Cum Laude Film Scoring graduate from Berklee College of Music, Vicente served as assistant conductor of the Berklee Symphony Orchestra during his time in Boston and musical director of the Berklee Society of Composers Chamber Orchestra. He conducted recording sessions at 20th Century Fox and The Bridge scoring stages in Los Angeles, as well as in WGBH in Boston.
